Famous Place, Famous Pizza, & Famous People
Gino’s East in downtown Chicago is a famous place. It has been in countless magazines, television shows, and many a travel story. For my 29th birthday, we went to Chicago to celebrate. I had to stop by Gino’s, write my name on the wall, and have a piece of Gino’s famous pizza. Their deep dish Chicago style is what they are known for. They have a sausage patty pizza made with their famous sausage. That is what we had. It is really good. While there we saw Actor Peter Jacobson standing in line. He plays Dr. Taub on House. He was on Law and Order and a ton of other shows from Will & Grace to The Good Wife! What a shock to just see him standing there! He was nice enough to let me take his photo.

I wrote my name on the wall in hot pink lipstick because the ink was not going to show up. The whole place is covered in names! It’s amusing. Here’s my name-

Mmmmm…Chicago deep dish pizza! I LOVE pizza! Even I’ve heard of Gio’s, so it’s obviously pretty famous. Or maybe I just pay way too much attention to pizza. Either way, I’m very envious you got to go there, and yes, we can make out the giant pink Crystal on the wall. You’re immortalized!
Steve- No joke…Next time I’m bringing paint pens! It is way too hard to get your name to show up! It is bad when a girl has to turn to her lipstick, lol. Gino’s is Fab! If you make it to Chicago it is a must!! BTW, Our family of 4 shared a small pizza! Crazy!
