Enjoying Our Favorite Donuts at Donnie’s Donuts – Ormond Beach, Florida

Donnie’s Donuts in Ormond Beach, Florida is home to our favorite donuts! We treat ourselves to dozens of them everytime we are in the area. We found them on our first visit while scrolling through Yelp looking for somewhere to eat. I know, real original…but the reviews weren’t wrong. We fell in love with this little shop. They put real care into their products. On this visit, we were surprised to find they were not there but after a little research we found out that they had just moved a little north into a larger building in Ormond Beach. Thank Goodness!

The base donut is what makes their donuts so special. The toppings are amazing but without that base, they wouldn’t be nearly as delicious. They make a ton of different types but we all have our favorites. All of us agree that the maple bacon donut gets top marks. It is worth the stop all on its own. I also love the salted caramel. Isabella was utterly fascinated by the fun donuts. They even made one especially for her because she was so excited about their donuts.

Donnie, the owner, even came out to speak with us. He is an incredibly nice guy. He takes great pride in his business and was a pleasure to chat with. This place is a must if you are lucky enough to be in the area. If it’s your first visit, try a variety platter to share. Their coffee is also great. They are family friendly with highchairs, a bathroom for customers, and a relaxed atmosphere. I’ll leave you with a photo of a half dozen reasons to drool.
