December Goals 2018

December Goals 2018

December Goals

  • Finish Paying off Credit Card #9
  • Blogmas
  • Really Enjoy the Christmas Season

We still owe $1,862.55 on credit card #9. We want to make a big push and pay it off before the end of the year. This is quite a sum of money considering Christmas celebrations and last-minute costs. We have the majority of our Christmas shopping finished. We will both be a little short on hours in December but we still think it’s doable. We have done more in one month before.

I have decided to push myself by doing Blogmas. Not all of the posts will be about Christmas but since it is the season there will be quite a few. I am hopeful that this will encourage me to find the time to write more. I really enjoy writing but I struggle to take the time to do it. I’m sure many of you can relate to this dilemma. It can be so hard when you are busy to find the time to do things that we enjoy. It’s a constant struggle for me to figure out how to make time for the things I want to not just the things that feel urgent. Do you know that nagging urgency that comes from all the things that seem important that blocks out the things you want to do? So many of those things are not as urgent as they appear. That was my hope with this. By giving something I want to do it’s own sense of urgency I hope to accomplish my goal of blogging more.

This is the first year I have been off on both Christmas Eve and Christmas in a long time. I’m so excited and totally in the Christmas spirit. We are doing a special advent calendar so we will be doing a Christmas activity everyday leading up to Christmas. We have a couple of outings planned, a couple parties/get togethers, some crafts to do, and loads of festive fun to be had. It’s going to be a great month!

Do you have any special plans for this month? Share them with me below.

Happy Holidays!

  1. We are both pushing to accomplish the same goals! I have one up on you, my son’s birthday is the day after Christmas so that’s also an added-money sucker, lol. We will prevail!

    1. My daughter’s birthday is 3 days before Christmas and another is at the beginning of January. We know the money suck of the Christmas birthday well.
