Brown’s Family Farm Market – Hamilton, OH

Yesterday we really wanted to soak in some country farm vibes. We had no idea where exactly that was going to happen. I looked through my list of possible places that I keep on my phone and we chose Brown’s Family Farm Market in Hamilton, Ohio. We loved the idea of picking up some goodies at a farmer’s market. We didn’t know much about this place but we’re always up for an adventure.

My sister, Cassie, tagged along for the day. We love when she comes adventuring with us. She is currently on summer break from college. We have been enjoying all the extra time.

The farm is next to a very busy road. This made me a little nervous with Octavia. We made sure to keep a close eye on her. There is plenty of parking for normal use. They do a fall festival and I wonder if they have additional parking for it. We started by looking at all the plants. There were tons of them. They had flowers, succulents, cacti, vegetables, and herbs.

The girls had fun at the playhouse area. It looks like a small town. Isabella thought the schoolhouse was super cute. She liked pretending to be the teacher. There were small riding toys including tractors and cars.

Behind the houses were cages with bunnies and chickens in them. There was a friendly goat nearby too. A sweet little boy came over to tell us about his rabbit and offered to let the girls pet it.

We ended our trip by picking out some goodies from the Farm Market. The girls each picked out a rock sucker and a honey stick. I found some beautiful cherry tomatoes, a large tomato, and corn on the cob. Ivy added a new succulent to her little garden. We spent about 2 hours here. We did follow a brown sign and went on another adventure afterward to Fernald Preserve. That post will be up on Monday!
