First Time at First Watch for my Mom’s Birthday – Florence, KY

We have been meaning to eat at First Watch for ages but it never seemed to work out. My Mom came to town for her birthday. I wanted to take her to brunch and things finally worked out to eat at First Watch in Florence, KY. It was a weekday so there wasn’t a wait. I was surprised by how busy they still were. I have heard that they have free coffee if people are waiting which is super cool!

The inside of this place is so cute! I’m not sure if they all look the same or if each one is a little different. We started with coffee for the adults and juice for the kids. I had an iced coffee that was really good! We chatted while checking out the menu. Even the menus are cute! They look like old newspapers.

The little girls both got waffle kids meals with a fruit cup and a sausage link. They were both very happy with their breakfasts. My mom got “The Traditional Breakfast” for $10.49. It was a good-sized meal! She was very pleased with it.

 

I went super basic and got Avocado Toast for $10.39. It came with two eggs and I ordered a side of chicken sausage for $3.89. This was quite possibly the best avocado toast I’ve ever eaten! Ivy decided on “The Elevated Egg Sandwich” that came with a side of potatoes for $10.49. Her meal was the prettiest, without a doubt! It’s the cover photo for this post! It was such a good looking sandwich. Her sisters were really happy that she couldn’t finish her potatoes.

This was the perfect place to celebrate my mom’s birthday! It was so nice to spend some time together. We spent the rest of the morning into early afternoon browsing through nearby shops. The closer we get to our trip, the more I realize how much I’m going to miss the little moments with my family. I’m glad I get to spend this time with her.
