You know those days when your kids are full of pent up energy and the weather is not cooperating? That’s what it was like on the day we decided to try out Gelli Baff. It had been raining for a few days and the little girls were in need of something to do. Like, really in need of something to do! They were driving me a little crazy.

This seemed like it was going to be a really easy project and it was even easier than I expected. I put a few inches of warm water in the bathtub before adding step 1. We ended up adding another inch of water.

It makes a gelatin-like substance and turned the water bright red. The girls put on some old swimsuits and climbed into the bathtub with the Gelli Baff. They had a ton of fun squishing and gathering large handfuls of it. The only issue we had with it was that it filled their swimsuits. It was easy to rinse out of them.

They played for almost two hours with a couple of plastic cups and some basic hard bath toys that could be easily rinsed off. When they were finally done, I rinsed them & their swimsuits off with the showerhead before getting them out. I added step 2 to the bathtub per directions. This stuff just completely changes back to colored water. I let it drain and rinse the bathtub out. It drained easily and didn’t stain. The girls raced to tell their Dad that night about how awesome their day was. Easy setup and minimal clean up made this project a win. We will happily be doing this again! You can find Gelli Baff in stores and on Amazon.
