10 Romantic Christmas Movies on Netflix
1.) The Holiday Calendar
2018, TV-PG – A talented photographer stuck in a dead-end job inherits an antique Advent calendar that may be predicting the future — and pointing her toward love.
This is one of our favorites! It’s such a cute movie and it’s a good one to watch with kids around.
2.) A Christmas Prince
2017, TV-PG – Christmas comes early for an aspiring young journalist when she’s sent abroad to get the scoop on a dashing prince who’s poised to be king.
Another great Christmas flick! I was binge-watching I-Zombie when I first watched this so that was a little weird. Other than that it has a Princess Diaries feel to it which I found endearing and cute.
3.) A Christmas Prince The Royal Wedding
2018, TV-PG – A year after helping Richard secure the crown, Amber returns to Aldovia to plan their wedding. But her simple tastes clash with royal protocol.
It’s always fun to return to a group of characters that you enjoyed. I chose to rewatch the first one and then this.
4.) A Christmas Prince The Royal Baby
2019, TV-PG – Christmas brings the ultimate gift to Aldovia: a royal baby. But first, Queen Amber must save her family and kingdom by unwrapping a monarchy mystery.
Return to Aldovia with our favorite Queen/Journalist for round three and with a bun in the oven along for the ride!
5.) Holiday in the Wild
2019, TV-PG – When her husband abruptly ends their marriage, empty nester Kate embarks on a solo second honeymoon in Africa, finding purpose — and potential romance.
I haven’t had the time to watch this one yet but I keep hearing great things. I love Kristin Davis so I’m sure it will be good.
6.) Christmas Inheritance
2017, TV-PG – To inherit her father’s company, socialite Ellen must first visit his small hometown, where she learns the value of hard work and helping others.
A very stereotypical big city girl meets a small-town life story. Still good fun!
7.) The Knight Before Christmas
2019, TV-14 -Medieval magic sends a 14th-century knight to modern-day Ohio, where he falls for a high school science teacher who’s disillusioned by love.
Go watch the ad for this. Seriously, go watch it. You’ll want to stay for the whole weird movie.
8.) Let It Snow
2019, PG-13 – A snowstorm hits a small town on a cold Christmas Eve, affecting the friendships, love lives, and futures of several high school seniors.
I love Kiernan Shipka and was excited to see her since my recent obsession with Mad Men.
9.) Christmas with a View
2018, TV-PG – Still reeling from a business failure, the restaurant manager of a ski resort finds her world jolted by a new chef, who has his own hidden past.
I haven’t seen this yet but it looks so good and I keep hearing great things. This might be what I watch tonight.
10.) Christmas Wedding Planner
2017, PG – A wedding planner’s world is turned upside down when a handsome private investigator is hired to disrupt one of her biggest jobs.
This is based on a Harlequin Novel and screams Christmastime romance.
Have you seen any of these?
OK, I watch a lot of Christmas movies and haven’t seen these. I will be watching them this week. Thanks for the list.
