Aglamesis Bro’s Premium Ice Creams and Gourmet Chocolates in Cincinnati
I had heard that there was a famous old fashioned ice cream parlor in Cincinnati. (Even Alton Brown from Food Network has been here.) I’m sure that by now our readers know that we love food and ice cream is one of our favorites. We had a free afternoon and decided to visit Aglamesis Bro’s Premium with my sister, Cassie. We went to the one on Oakley Square. I didn’t realize when I put it into GPS that there was another one but I was thrilled with the one it took me to!
The parking lot is next to Deeper Roots Coffee. This place looked great too but we were here for ice cream. We may come back for a visit in the future. We loved the painting on the side of the building and stopped to get a couple of photos for the ‘gram. This area feels a little Hipster which is fun. We walked down a few buildings to Aglamesis Bro’s.
The outside of this shop is pink and adorable! In fact, the entire place is adorable. I felt like I was transported back in time. We picked out a couple of tables toward the back and got down to the all-important decision of which ice cream flavors to try. This was such a hard choice! We wanted to try them all.
I couldn’t pick just one. I went with a double scoop of Dutch Holland chocolate and the limited time strawberry chocolate chip on a sugar cone. (The photo at the top is mine!) Octavia got a kid’s scoop of limited time banana chocolate chip in a tiny bowl. The little bowls are so cute!
Cassie got the limited time peach on a sugar cone. Ivy decided on a double scoop of Dutch Holland chocolate and coffee in a waffle cone. Isabella picked strawberry chocolate chip too. We took turns trying each other’s ice creams around the tables. They make small-batch ice cream in house and it was one of the best that I’ve ever tasted! We picked up some chocolate covered raisins for Michael since he couldn’t make it.
We stopped on the way back to the car at a small children’s clothing boutique. It was super cute! It was a great afternoon spent with some of my favorite people!
