SpringHill Suites By Marriott Tampa Westshore Airport – Florida

We spent one night at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tampa Westshore Airport in Tampa, Florida. We were driving to Treasure Island, Florida. We arrived a day earlier than we originally expected so we needed a place to stay for the night. This was the day that we went to Silver Springs. We had trouble finding a hotel last-minute without driving to Tampa. We tried to find a place in our budget that had a pool that was open late so we could swim that night, had free parking on site, and offered a free breakfast. This place hit all the marks!

It had a small kitchenette and sitting area. There was a trundle style bed under the sofa. There were two televisions on opposite sides of the room. The bathroom was good-sized. It was a double queen suite. The beds were very comfortable. There was enough room for the girls to run around while we were getting ready the next morning. The vanity area was outside of the bathroom. This is normally a pet peeve of mine but it did come in handy when trying to get all five of us out the door in the morning.

We ordered some Chinese food from a place that the front desk recommended for dinner. They delivered which was nice but the food wasn’t great. We changed into our swimsuits while waiting for dinner to be delivered. After dinner, we spent the rest of the evening at the pool. We finally went back to the room when Octavia was falling asleep in my lap on a pool chair. It was a lovely, relaxing evening.
We woke up early the next day. We enjoyed the free, hot breakfast buffet before heading out for our next adventure. The dining area was decent sized and we were able to find seats easily. The food was actually pretty good. It was much better than the Chinese delivery! The girls all had seconds and a couple of them had thirds. It was easy to check out and be on our way.
