April Goals 2019 – End of month review

April Goals

• Pay off loan #1
• Pay as much as possible on loan #2
• Cash flow our trip
• Major decluttering
• Family time/Get outside more
• Continue researching travel trailers and remodeling them

We were able to pay off loan #1 completely and part of loan #2.  Loan #1 was $1,300 and we paid $500 on loan #2. We can’t wait to finish paying off that last personal loan! I can’t believe that we have paid off all of our credit cards in just over a year. We will only have our student loan payments left after this loan is finished! It’s so exciting!

We cash flowed our entire trip to Oklahoma and it felt great! The girls got to meet their great grandparents and it doesn’t get much cooler than that. It was a very long road trip and not at all a “kid” trip. We were so impressed by how awesome our kids did, especially in the car. It was a huge relief. Our family has always been very easy-going but we were worried about how well Octavia, 2, would do in a car all day. This trip helped Michael and I feel much better about our upcoming big trip.

We are continuing to declutter our home. We have been hard at work, preparing to have some yard sales this summer. We aren’t buying anything that we don’t intend to take on our trip which is helping too.

We have been spending a lot of time together outside. We have been going to the park and going for walks. It’s been really nice.

Michael and I have been researching travel trailers and remodeling them. We have decided on our favorite layouts and must have items. Ivy and I have been considering different color schemes and design options. We plan to live in it for at least a year so we want it to feel like home. We have also been looking into organization ideas and coming up with a list of items that we need to accommodate. I will share a list of items that we are taking when it gets closer and we have specifics instead of just a general idea.

It’s so hard to believe it’s already May!
