We love simple dinners around here! When we were asked to try this pasta sauce, I promptly accepted. My Dad has been a huge fan of The Pioneer Woman for ages and we have enjoyed many of her recipes over the years. Being always on the go does come with the occasional downfall and not always having time to make a dinner from scratch is definitely one of them. This pasta sauce made me feel better about a quick meal because it tastes like something I would make myself. It’s thick and delicious!

Recipe:

1 jar of The Pioneer Woman Rustic Bolognese Pasta Sauce

12 ounces of Radiatori (we used Garofalo)

1 pound of mild Italian sausage links

Brown the sausage links in a skillet with a lid on medium-high heat until cooked through. Cook pasta according to package directions. Once the sausage is cooked allow to cool for a couple of minutes before slicing into bite-sized pieces. I started cooking the pasta when the sausage was half cooked. Drain pasta and rinse out the pot.

Warm sauce in pasta pot before adding cooked pasta and sausage. This sauce made my whole kitchen smell so good while warming it up. My family started showing up at the dinner table before it was even finished.

The final product plated nicely and all five of us left the table satisfied. My final thoughts on this product are that it’s tasty and we would use it again. Also, How cute are these jars? We will be repurposing that for sure.
