SpringHill Suites by Marriott – Enid, Oklahoma

We recently spent a few nights at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Enid, Oklahoma. We were there to visit my husband’s family. We wanted to stay somewhere that was comfortable for all of us to sleep and close to everybody. We chose this place because of the size of the rooms and the location in town. It’s relatively new and included breakfast which was a perk.

The room had a seating area at the front with a pull-out bed. Ivy slept there alone. She doesn’t sleep well when sharing a bed. There were two queen beds for the rest of us.

There was a water closet (a toilet and sink separate from the rest of the bathroom) and an area with a large vanity and shower/bathtub. The sliding barn-style door on the water closet was beautiful but was the thing we disliked the most about the room. It was difficult to close correctly and a little heavy for the little girls. I loved the shower and vanity area. The lighting was much better for doing my make-up than hotel vanities typically are. I really enjoyed all the vanity space!
There was an indoor pool that we used the last night we were there. It was closed one of the days we were there. The pool had a few issues. There are a ramp and railing going into the pool. The railing was quite rusted. It was still a pool and the kids didn’t want to ever get out and go to bed. There was a small gym that we didn’t use but it looked alright.

The breakfast buffet was clean & well stocked. We enjoyed the selection of bread and muffins. We were very pleased that they had fresh fruit every day. Octavia mostly survives on fruit, vegetables, and yogurt these days. The employees really made the place. They were all really nice. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
